Friday’s Fab Find: Dr. Remedy Nail Polish

Dr. Remedy Nail Polish

Years ago, when I lived in Seattle, I knew a woman named Krista who was a bigger fashionista than I am. Every night she picked out her outfit for the next day and then painted her nails to compliment her clothes. It was a ritual. I couldn’t believe her dedication to her manicure, but she didn’t see it that way. She explained her naked nails were horrid and always needed to be hidden under polish.

If I knew then what I know now I could explain to her that the harsh chemicals in the nail polish were probably the reason her nail beds were so awful. Of course, this was years before I could recommend Dr. Remedy’s Enriched Nail Care (website here).

Dr. Remedy Nail Polish

Dr. Remedy Nail Polish was started by Dr. Adam Cirlincione and Dr. William Spielfogel both board certified practicing Podiatric Surgeons based in New York. So many of their patients were coming to them seeking help with their dry, brittle, discolored nails. They came up with an obvious solution; healthier nail polish minus the brutal chemicals.

Dr. Remedy Nail Polish offers over 30 different shades of nail color along with nail care products such as base coat, top coat, cuticle care and a nail hydration treatment. Each product is infused with a special blend of ingredients selected by Dr. Cirlincione and Dr. Spielfogel. This blend includes: wheat protein, tea tree oil, garlic bulb extract and lavender. Dr. Remedy products do not contain formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, camphor or phthalates or DBP. Dr. Remedy is the best alternative to traditional nail polish.

And if that wasn’t enough, customers rave about the colors which fight toe fungus while being long lasting, chip resistant, beautiful and vegan!

One thing to note: due to the formulation of nail polish it can only be shipped via ground so no overnight express, but trust me this polish is worth the wait.
