Friday’s Fab Find: Kameleon Rose

Kameleon Rose

I travel light. I think the most important thing is to be in a good mood and enjoy life, wherever you are.  – Diane von Furstenberg

Years ago, when my friend Natasha became engaged to the boyfriend she’d had known less a year. I became alarmed. So little time together, how could they know they were compatible enough to make a lifelong commitment?   Natasha dismissed my concerns. “I know him as well as I you can know anyone. We’ve travelled together.”

One of the biggest tests of any relationship, romantic or otherwise is traveling together.  I tell people I love to travel but that’s not true. I love being in different places.  The actual traveling is AWFUL. What is it about being in airport that just makes my IQ plunge? People ask me how my name is spelled and I must think about it.

And packing! How do I leave New York with 8 pairs of clean underwear and all eight are dirty 4 days into the trip? Is this dress comfortable enough for me to walk in around all day and yet still dressy enough for me to wear to a nice restaurant? Does it wrinkle? Can I layer it?
