Friday’s Fab Find: Waft

Waft

A women who doesn’t wear perfume has no future.- Coco Chanel

Okay perhaps Coco was being a tad dramatic. Some people have some serious allergy and chemical sensitivity issues and don’t wear fragrance.   Still perfume is pretty damn awesome, but it can be hard to find a perfume that’s ‘you’.

I saw this Kiosk once that could personally engrave a bottle with initials. I thought it would be a great gift for my niece! But I couldn’t help but think, what if I spend all this money on a perfume and she doesn’t like it?  Scent is such a deeply personal thing. I discourage people from buying scents as gifts unless you know this person already likes/wears a perfume.

How can you find a perfume you like let alone love when shopping for yourself? Do you pester the workers at Sephora for so many samples they give you dirty looks? Don’t get me wrong, that is a valid method, but I’ve found a way that not only streamlines the search, but personalizes it in a way I never thought possible!

    Great gift idea!

  • Andrea

I love this idea! I haven’t worn fragrance in years, but was just recently thinking I should explore it again. FWIW, looks like the cost is $99, not $79.

I love this idea. I’m so picky with my perfume! Sometimes it smells great in the store and then later fades into something gross
